DO YOU WORK WITH YOUNG PEOPLE WHO MAY BE PARENTS?

OR PARENTS WHO MAY BE UNDER 18?

At the moment we are trying to reach every young parent in Calderdale.

If you are working with a young Mum or Dad – we’d really like you to ask them how they feel about the following (in respect of your service or others that they access):

How easy is it getting to services? 
What would help you to use services?
Do you find staff friendly and approachable?
Which services have helped the most?
Is there anything you wish existed to help, that doesn’t at the moment?
Do you have access to activities?
Are there opportunities to get out and about?
For young Dads, in particular, how much do you feel you are helped to be confident and involved with your child?

Services could include;
Housing providers;
Benefits;
Schools/college;
Health services;
Maternity services;
Youth activities/centres.

If you could jot down any key points or comments that young parents would like us to know, and return to the Calderdale Teenage Pregnancy Office that would be really helpful.  You can do this by email, phone or post (you can use the box overleaf for comments).

All responses will be entirely anonymous and will not be kept individually - we don’t need to know any names - but it would be helpful to know if you’ve spoken with a young Mum or Dad and which area of Calderdale they live in.
